Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. Even as they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control because their darker sides begin to take over.

The bottle crush!

Want to mimic Andrew’s defining moment in the film where he crushes a car? Thought so. All you need is a medium-sized plastic bottle and some recently boiled water. This first bit needs to be done out of sight of the person you are demonstrating your new superpowers to. Pour the boiling water into the bottle and let it remain for 30 seconds. Next empty the water and the bottle will quickly begin to contract, giving the impression that you have refined your new superpowers to the extent that you can use them to crush any object of your choice. Feel free to use your facial expressions and spare hand to add to the deception.
