The Boss (Robbie Coltrane) is an underworld kingpin who is rapidly losing control of his organisation. When money is stolen from under his nose and an assassin tries to have him killed, he knows radical action is necessary. Claire (Kyra Sedgwick) is The Boss' most trusted employee and together with her confidante (Stanley Tucci) she aims to straighten everything out, but soon finds herself trapped in a world of deadly deception, with both the police and the underworld after her.
