Attack The Block
Joe Cornish (of ADAM AND JOE fame) makes his feature film directorial debut with this comedy/sci-fi with a dash of social commentary. ATTACK THE BLOCK, also written by Cornish and produced by the award-winning team behind SHAUN OF THE DEAD, is set during an alien invasion of London and the carnage that soon ensues. The aliens are well equipped and determined of mind but there’s one thing that they haven't prepared for: the hooded teenagers that live in one of the city's roughest housing estates. A junior army that ain't down with anyone trying to muscle in on their turf...
