Made-for-TV drama dealing with effects of the credit crunch. Three men's lives are turned upside down when they are caught in the fallout from the finacial crisis. Dave (Dominic Cooper) is a successful mortgage broker selling mortgages to families who can't get credit. Running into his struggling old schoolmate Jim (Joseph Mawle), he offers him the chance to move up to a better home. Meanwhile, in the city, high-flying investment banker Gus (Aidan Gillen) has just managed to clinch a major deal for his firm, trading in some highly profitable subprime loan mortgages. But when the news later breaks that the loans are toxic, the financial panic soon spreads around the globe, having a devastating impact on the lives of all three men.
