Ray Winstone stars in this hard-hitting television drama taking a look at the seedier side of 'the beautiful game'. Winstone plays Frankie, a larger-than-life bully-boy football manager who, together with his son, has made a nice life for himself in the game - with fast cars and big houses, not always secured through above board means. But his scams are starting to show through and suspicions are being raised. His latest plan centres around a naive new player, whose fall from innocence is mirrored by Frankie's increasing unpredictability as he finds his carefully constructed world falling apart.
