Tender, downbeat British comedy directed by Damien O'Donnell ('East is East') and starring Michael Sheen as Colin, a gentle, rather naïve shop owner who decides to give up everything to travel across England's heartlands in pursuit of his first love and his dignity. His wife Sandra (Jane Robbins) has left him for the captain of his darts team, and taken off with him to Blackpool ('the 'Las Vegas of the North') for a national darts competition. Colin hops aboard his moped and sets off to track her down, encountering a string of colourful characters along the way.
