Peter Jenson (William Bendix) visits a psychoanalyst, Dr Gillespie (Martin Balsam) about a dream in which he wakes up in 1941 in Honolulu. However, he tries to tell Dr Gillespie that the dream is not a dream at all and that he is actually time travelling. A sceptical Dr Gillespie assures him that time travel is impossible but Jenson knows that this is not true. While back in time, Jenson takes advantage and bets on winning horses and and all the right teams but things soon get complicated when he tries to warn people of an impending attack on Pearl Harbour.
