Disney Pixar's Brave (Xbox 360)

Disney and Pixar - the potent creative combo that brought us the likes of Toy Story - are back with Brave - a story focusing on mythical Scotland and Merida, the daughter of King Fergus of Clan DunBroch. To celebrate the release of the movie in theatres, Disney Interactive has also been hard at work on a video game adaptation of the film for the family to enjoy at home.

The story of Brave unravels when Merida, discontent with her upcoming arranged marriage, finds a witch and asks her to cast a spell to change her mother, Queen Elinor. The spell doesn’t quite work as expected, as the Queen gets transformed into a Bear - a curse that becomes permanent unless broken by the second sunrise.

This forms the basis of your platforming and shooting antics in Disney Pixar’s Brave: The Video Game, with players taking control of Merida as she travels through many magical worlds to find a way to break the spell and ultimately save the kingdom. As well as third-person platforming, shooting and puzzle mechanics, players will be able to take on special challenges across the rugged lands.

You’ll encounter Will-o-the-Wisps, Merida’s triplet siblings and many more fascinating characters from the Brave film in this video game adaptation.
