The situation is no different in this new adventure - the way you play will still write the story of how the world is changed forever. Dragon Age 2 tells the story of Hawke, a refugee survivor of the Blight and a bit of a pauper to boot. That’s the reward for being the Champion of Kirkwall, we guess.

But it is this legacy that begins to draw the path of Hawke’s rise to power, from poverty to a hero (be he noble or a git) that is able to shape the face of the Dragon Age universe. It helps when your journey is riddled with myth and rumour every step of the way.

Dragon Age 2 features an all-new story that spans an entire decade of Hawke’s life - you get to decide how things pan out as you forge alliances, make enemies and engage in combat to protect your honour. The combat system has been tinkered with to provide more of a responsive feel when slaying your foes - becoming a legend never felt so good.
