Players can create their own super-hero characters, with almost complete flexibility to customise them as they like. A hero's name, appearance, back-story and, most importantly, powers are all highly configurable, to ensure you have a completely unique playing experience. Every super hero has an arch-nemesis, and in Champions Online you get to create yours. Once your character is created you can jump right into the action - and action is exactly what this game is all about. No lengthy move planning and character recharge time, in Champions Online, the combat is real time. And with every character having a unique mix of abilities and powers, you'll have to rely on your cunning and creativity as much as your strength. If you don't have what it takes to defeat an enemy alone, you can make friends and form alliances to create your own superteam. Winning battles against evil will enable you to upgrade your powers and abilities, and you can customise the upgrades to match your hero's look. Champions Online is not only massively multiplayer, it's simply massive, too. Your storyline and your super-adventures take place across a huge gameworld: from the gleaming skyscrapers of Millennium City , through frozen wastelands, and even to a hidden underwater city.
