Join the crew of the Enterprise NCC-1701E on her maiden big screen voyage, battling the mighty Borg in the eighth amazing motion picture to come to DVD, Star Trek: First Contact SE.

The adventure spans the centuries as Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), First Officer Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and their shipmates follow the cyborg race known as The Borg, from the 24th Century to the devastated remains of 21st Century Earth.

The Enterprise crew must stop the Borg from destroying The Phoenix, mankind’s first faster than light (Warp) capable vessel and ensure that the test flight goes ahead as planned in order to preserve the history of the future. Soon after arriving in the past however, the powerful Borg transport onto the Enterprise and Picard and his crew must fight for survival against an ever growing army of cyborgs who adapt to every weapon used against them. This 2 disc special edition contains over three hours of newly created extra features including seven featurettes.

The even-numbered Star Trek movies are often regarded as the finest in the series, and First Contact is no exception taking more than $150 Million at the Boxoffice and is widely regarded as the most mainstream of any of the Star Trek films.
