Series two of EXTRAS finds former television and film extra Andy Millman commissioned by the BBC to create and star in the sitcom 'When The Whistle Blows'.

Detailed Information

Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) is a struggling actor with ambition and a script. Darren Lamb (Stephen Merchant) is Andy's useless agent and Maggie (Ashley Jensen) is his air-headedbest friend.

After getting his comedy script accepted by the BBC, things are looking up for Andy. However, Andy's dreams of becoming a respected auteur are roundly demolished and Andy must claw back what little self-respect he can.

The second series of the award-winning Extras is as edgy, uncomfortable, daring and funny as no other comedy. This DVD includes all six-episodes from the second series and features cameos from Orlando Bloom, David Bowie, Sir Ian McKellan, Daniel Radcliffe, Chris Martin, Robert Lindsay, Robert De Niro and of course Barry from Eastenders.
