Tommy is an ex gambler who quits the game after missing a family emergency and vowing to his wife he would never touch the cards again.

Whilst watching a tournament on TV he sees Alex, a new young hot shot card player. Alex has just won an on line event that places him in the biggest game of his life which will be played live on TV. The game begins and Alex takes and early fall - he is close to the big time but doesn't realize yet that he focuses too much on the cards, and not the players. That's where Tommy comes in...
