In this heartwarming Christmas program, Horace McNickle (Edward Asner) is a counterfeiter who escapes from prison and decides the perfect way to hide out from the cops is to pose as Santa Claus. What he didn't count on, however, was becoming endeared to two young children who believe that he is the real Santa! In the process of using the childrens' trust to help him hide his counterfeit fortune, Horace's hard heart slowly melts and he learns what Christmas is really about
