Billu (Irrfan Khan, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE) is a small town barber leading a very ordinary, if impoverished, life. After innocently mentioning to his family that he once knew Bollywood superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan, OM SHANTI OM), Billu finds himself centre of attention when news spreads of Sahir's imminent arrival. Suddenly everyone wants a piece of Billu, and those who once spurned him come grovelling for an introduction to the star. What follows is a comedy of errors as a reluctant Billu is forced to make contact, with each blundered attempt seeing his popularity in town slip further and further away.
