Aadmi is a complex love story about a rich man, Rajesh, his love, Meera, and his only true friend, Shekhar. Shekhar belonged to a poor family, and therefore, Rajesh finanicially supported Shekhar through medical studies. Mayadas, the treasurer of Rajesh's wealth, wanted Rajesh to marry his daughter Aarti. But it seemed Aarti and Meera, the girl Rajesh loved, were in love with Rajesh's friend Shekhar. In order to ensure the marriage of Aarti and Rajesh, Aarti's father Mayadas placed doubts in Rajesh's mind about Meera and his friend. Falling for this conspiracy Rajesh tells Shekhar to get out of his life. On realising his mistake, he feels ashamed and attempts suicide. Fortunately, he survives at the cost of his legs. When Rajesh returns back, he is surprised to see Shekhar happily married to Aarti. What happened to Meera?
