Detailed Information

Three features. 'Home Town Story', 'Of Human Bondage' and 'Behave Yourself'.

Of Human Bondage - Having unsuccessfully tried his hand at painting in Paris, Philip Carey (Leslie Howard) returns home to London.

Despite his clubfoot, Philip overcomes his awkwardness and pursues a medical career. Still in medical school, he

becomes obsessed with a gruff Cockney waitress, Mildred Rogers (Davis), intent on taking him for all he is worth.

Eventually, his devotion to her threatens his career ambitions and his chance for future happiness.

Behave Yourself - Young couple, Kate and William Denny, (Shelley Winters and Farley Granger), adopt a stray pooch, not realizing

that the dog carries the key element to a criminal plan to hijack a million-dollar shipment. Before long, they are in the middle of a comedy of underworld lunacy.

Home Town Story - Blake Washburn blames manufacturer MacFarland for his defeat in the race for re-election to the state legislature. He takes over his uncle’s newspaper to take on big business as an enemy of the people. Miss Martin (Marilyn Monroe) works in the ‘Herald’ newspaper office. When tragedy strikes, Blake must re-examine his views.
