Everybody dance now! Harmonix, the developer behind the music rhythm blockbuster Rock Band, has taken its talents to the dancefloor and created Dance Central for the Xbox 360's Kinect peripheral. If you've ever felt like you have two left feet, this will let you get funky with the music in the comfort of your own home. You might even be able to take some of those moves to the club!

The Kinect camera sensor detects your presence and rates you on your ability to match dancing cues on the screen. There's no controller involved, it's just you and your ability to swing. If you're not that hot though, there's a range of difficulty levels that provide authentic choreography for each song.

If you really want to analyse a track, hit the Break It Down mode to learn each and every nuance. There are over 600 dance moves to perfect here, and with the Perform It mode you can build up your skills and combine different moves to become a dance master!

The best part is that you're not alone! Get a friend involved and boogie down together, or grab a crowd and have them decorate the background as you take centre stage. And with a range of songs spanning Lady Gaga, No Doubt, M.I.A., Bell Biv Devoe and more, you'll be a dancefloor superstar in no time at all.
