Donkey Kong Jet Race (Wii)

Spending hour upon hour customising your car in Project Gotham 4 not doing it for you? The brutal (not so) reality of Burnout Paradise not lighting your ring? The true to life simulation of Forza 2 not floating your boat? In that case, you'd better pick up Donkey Kong Jet Race for the Wii.

It's something of a K explosion as Donkey Kong's crew returns. You'll find Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Lanky Kong, Tiny Kong, Funky Kong... you're getting the picture, right? All your favourites. So, it's got all of your favourites racing it out on... well, rocket barrels. We said it's not going to be your traditional racer, didn't we?

Players will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to shake, rattle and roll their way through 16 courses, including snow-capped mountains, blazing deserts and floating islands that spill water left, right and centre. There are multiple game modes on offer, including a four-way multiplayer so you can endanger the lives of your friends while you string together Wild Moves or fire off pineapple cannons.

Like we said, consider it a break from reality...
