Three more instalments of the crime series written and produced by Lynda La Plante. In 'The Lovers', Det. Chief Supt. Murphy (David Hayman) and DCI Roisin O'Connor (Victoria Smurfit) are called in when a newly-wed husband suddenly disappears on his honeymoon. In 'Sins of the Father', the detectives have to investigate the death of a girl whose body was moved by distraught parents, making forensic examination problematical. Finally, in 'Closure', it appears a serial killer is on the loose, as the murder of a schoolgirl turns up similiar cases over a ten-year period.
