Starfox 64 (DS)

The 3DS port of the classic N64 title, Starfox 64 3D sees you take on the role of Fox McCloud, a starfighter pilot bent on destroying the evil Andross. Following on from events in the original SNES game, you will need to defend the planet Corneria from the invading enemies. It's not just you and your Arwing ship though. You're accompanied throughout by your animal colleagues who, while often helpful, can sometimes be a little reckless and may need you to save them – if you lose one, they're gone. Keep an eye out for Slippy Toad in particular, he's forever getting in trouble.

Along with the original game in which you lead the Star Fox team into dangerous battles through space and on land (using the awesome Landmaster tank), there's also a four-player Battle Mode that runs off a single cartridge. Here you can work together in specially built arenas to destroy enemy ships or face off against each other in a fight to see who will be the last man standing. You can even put yourself in the game by using the 3DS camera. With all new controls as well as updated graphics and audio, this isn't the game that you played all those years ago – this is Starfox for the twenty-first century.
