Don Ameche plays a dual role, starring as Baron Duarte, a wealthy Brazilian industrialist, and entertainer Larry Martin, the young Rio de Janeiro performer who looks just like the magnate. Fortuitously, the highlight of the entertainer`s act is an uncanny imitation of the industrialist, which impresses the latter`s associates. When Naron Duarte must leave Brazil on urgent business, Larry Martin is enlisted to help stave off the advances of the industrialist`s powerful enemies. The scene is now set for ensuing hilarity.

Naturally, all`s well that ends well in this charming musical comedy.
