| Before Archer, Janeway, Sisko or Picard came Kirk, the original and best ever captain of the Enterprise, boldly going where no man has gone before. Mostly into the bedrooms of foxy alien chicks, but also quite regularly into battle with dastardly Romulans, aggressive Klingons, and even the odd energy-based lifeform. Cancelled long before its time, this is the third and final series of the show, featuring such classic episodes as Spectre of the Gun (the western one), The Empath (the violent one), The Mark of Gideon (the one where Kirk's alone on the ship) and The Savage Curtain (the one with Abraham Lincoln). Also featured is the notorious Spock's Brain episode, so terribly bad you'll laugh till you cry, as Spock somehow talks Dr McCoy through his own brain surgery.
Star Trek Season Three: First aired in America in 1968.
