| | With so many Whale-related misadventures recently, we thought it would be good to take another look at one of the best "Whale" movies of them all - Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
When an alien probe visits Earth looking for Whales (no, we're not making this up!), Captain Kirk and the crew of the Starship Enterprise must travel back in time to 1986 San Francisco to pick up two Humpback Whales and then take them forward in time in order to save humanity from the effects of the probe. A brilliant fish-out-of-water story (please excuse the pun!) - who knew that Spock would be the comic relief!
William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and the rest of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew take to the skies in one of the most acclaimed and intriguing Star Trek adventures ever.
It's the 23rd Century, and a mysterious alien power is threatening Earth by evaporating the oceans and destroying the atmosphere. In a frantic attempt to save mankind, Kirk and his crew must travel back to 1986 San Francisco where they find a world of punk, pizza and exact-change buses that are as alien as anything they've ever encountered in the far reaches of the galaxy. A thrilling, action-packed mission for the Starship Enterprise!
