Red Eye
A battle of wills between an innocent woman who just wants to get home and the man who is holding her father’s life in her hands sets the scene for the intense and exciting thriller Red Eye.
Director Wes Craven (
Scream
,

) enters the thriller arena with Red Eye an intelligent and emotive drama that sees sterling performances from stars Rachel McAdams (
Wedding Crashers
,
The Notebook
) and Cillian Murphy (
Batman Begins
,
28 Days Later
).
Red Eye tells the story of young hotel manager Lisa Reinstert (McAdams) who after attending the funeral of her grandmother is on her way back to Miami. In order to make it in time to work the next day she takes the Red Eye despite her hate for flying. After meeting the charming Jackson Rippner (Murphy) while waiting in line Lisa is happy to be distracted from her fear and continues their flirtation over drinks while waiting for their delayed flight. Little did she know that the terror that awaits her on the flight to Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying.
Once the cabin door is locked everything changes and Jackson menacingly reveals the real reason he is onboard and that their meeting is no coincidence. He has been hired to ensure the assassination of Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security and Lisa is the key to his success. One call to change the VIP’s room at the hotel Lisa works is all that is needed to finalise the deal but if she refuses to co-operate, an assassin will kill her father.
Trapped within the confines of the jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way of summoning help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. Time is running out as every second they get closer to their destination. Lisa desperately searches for a way to stop the ruthless captor and prevent a terrible murder.
