Antonio Banderas (In his first English-language film) and Armand Assante star as two Cuban brothers who come to America to seek fame and fortune as musicians.

The ambitious Cuban brothers come to New York to make a name for themselves as musicians during the mambo craze of the 1950's. The Mambo Kings relates the brothers quest for show-business fame. This DVD edition includes an additional scene not shown in theatres featuring Armand Assante and Cathy Moriarty.
