Best known and beloved for the many crazies he's played over the years, Dennis Hopper adds another freak to his resume in the form of a cop called Krebs, good on the outside, but on the inside, mad as a sack full of kittens. This time around Hopper abducts and imprisons a beautiful dancer, played to the hilt by Italian sexpot Asia Argento. Flowers and sunshine do not ensue. A deadly battle of wills, however, is definitely on the agenda. A moody crime thriller with a wry sense of humour, The Keeper has suspense to spare.
