Thibault is a brave medieval knight who likes riding horses, rescuing damsels in distress and ordering his servant Andre around. Now he is about to marry the most beautiful woman in the kingdom. But on the eve of his wedding a horrible tragedy occurs, and a wizard's terrible mistake means that suddenly Thibault and Andre find themselves spiralling headfirst into the future.

They wake up to find themselves in America, 800 years ahead of where they should be. Confused, they attack cars believing they are strange dragons, ride horses on the subway and even wash in toilets! But then they meet Julia, a distant relation, and suddenly realise they're on borrowed time. Thibault must return to the past quickly before they and all of their relations are wiped from history forever....
