Twenty thousand years ago, the Earth was being overrun by glaciers, and
creatures everywhere were fleeing the onslaught of the new Ice Age. In this
time of peril, we meet the weirdest herd of any Age: a fast talking but dim
sloth named Sid; a moody woolly mammoth named Manny; a devilish saber-toothed
tiger named Diego; and an acorn-crazy saber-toothed squirrel known as Scrat.
This quartet of misfits unexpectedly, and reluctantly, comes together in a
quest to return a human infant to his father. Braving boiling lava pits,
treacherous ice caves, freezing temperatures and a secret, evil plot, these
"sub-zeros" become the world's first heroes!

The Characters

Manny a.k.a. The Heavy
Meet Manfred, or Manny to his friends. He's an extremely moody woolly mammoth
who would rather be left alone. On the outside, he looks like your typical 2
storey tall, 10,000 pound elephant wearing a fur coat. But behind those pearly
whites and cool exterior is the Ice Age's biggest heart.

Scrat a.k.a. Squeak Attack
The Scrat is a mammal on a mission, just trying to hide his acorn. A little
light on the smarts though, if the Scrat is going to survive the Ice Age, he'd
better stick close to Manny, watch his back for a lurking Diego and always keep
two hands on his nut.

Sid a.k.a. Smooth Operator
Worldly. Witty. Smooth. Debonair. Ask Sid to describe himself and he may use
one of these words. Ask anyone, and we mean ANYONE, else and you might hear:
Goofball. Loudmouth. Klutz. Embarrassment. Regardless of who you believe, you
can't deny Sid's a fast talker.

Diego a.k.a. Double Agent
He's the only meat eater of the bunch. He normally travels (and hunts) in a
pack, and he can smell humans coming from miles away. Sent by his leader to
bring back a human baby for their next meal, Diego must stealthily infiltrate
Sid and Manny's crew.
