McConaughey and Hudson are playing a numbers game with love
- but who will score?
Andie (Hudson) is writing a feature about how to seduce a guy and then drive him away
- all in ten days.
She picks on advertising executive Ben (McConaughey) as her unsuspecting guinea-pig after meeting him in a bar. Getting him interested is not a
problem, so then she torments him with some 'guaranteed' male pet hates.
She'll stop at nothing to get rid of him - from calling him 'Bennikins'to making him late for the match and throwing temper
tantrums at his work.
But Ben keeps coming back for more. Why? Because unbeknown to Andie he has
made a bet with his boss that he can make any girl fall for him in, you've guessed it, ten days. If he wins the bet he gets to pitch for a
major new client, so he pulls out all the stops to win Andie over.
As the pair move in opposite directions, Andie falls for Ben. There's high jinks all the way in this battle of the sexes.
