Time to welcome back Hogwarts' most famous wizard-in-waiting. Good elf to you, Harry!

The first Harry Potter movie was an unqualified hit by any reckoning, with everyone from Harry's creator, J.K.

Rowling, to his worldwide legion of fans pronouncing it a brilliant adaptation of the book.

So how does the minor magician fare in his second film outing? The answer, happily, is just as wonderfully as before. Director Chris Columbus has followed up the success of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with another magic movie.

As in the first film, a host of top class acting talent is on hand to help out Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and the younger actors, with the likes of John Cleese, Robbie Coltrane and Alan Rickman being joined by Kenneth Branagh, who plays Gilderoy Lockhart, Hogwarts' new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.

This time round, the plot is darker, with Harry and co. trying to unlock the secret of the mysterious Chamber of Secrets, while a mysterious creature roams the school and Hogwarts pupils are turned into stone. But who's responsible?
