| In 1888 London, life for the poor and unfortunate was gruelling enough, especially for those in the city's deadliest slum, Whitechapel. Terrorised daily by gangs, Mary Kelly (Heather Graham) and her small group of companions are forced to walk the streets for a living, with only each other for protection. When one of their friends is mysteriously kidnapped by Special Branch, life for the girls spirals into an even darker abyss. As one by one the girls are gruesomely murdered, their throats slashed from left to right and their bodies viciously mutilated, it quickly becomes apparent that they are part of a conspiracy of unimaginable heights. The sinister murders gain the attention of the notorious Inspector Fred Abberline (Johnny Depp) a troubled yet well respected man, whose police work is aided by his psychic visions. As Abberline becomes more entwined in the case and gets closer to both Mary and the truth, it is clear that danger lurks behind every corner for him and the girls. In a race against time, the method in the serial killer's madness is slowly uncovered and Abberline must fight to reveal the nation's darkest secret and save Mary's life. Produced and Directed by The Hughes Brothers, who established their film career with 'Menace II Society', the all star cast includes sensational supporting performances from Ian Holm (Lord of the Rings) and Robbie Coltrane (Harry Potter). From Hell is a murder mystery thriller that stylishly captures Victorian London and one of the most infamous conspiracy theories of our time. With award winning costume design, chilling graphics and terrifyingly original direction, From Hell will leave you watching your back for Jack...
