Gabby and Carlos learn the secret to adopting a child without going through an agency - cash. Lynette must deal with an employee who has something she needs to get off her chest.

EPISODE 18 - EVERYBODY SAYS DON'T

Bree gets a new AA sponsor who has an addiction problem of his own. Lynette is torn over what to say during her testimony at Andrew's deposition. Edie learns of Susan and Karl's plans and decides to forgive them =for a price. Edie's engagement party proves to be quite memorable, with tears, accusations and one birth.

EPISODE 19 - DON'T LOOK AT ME

Gabby and Carlos are granted temporary custody of baby Lily until the birth father comes back from his spring break - from high school. Meanwhile, Gabby hands over much of the baby responsibilities to Xiao Mei, with potentially disastrous results. Felicia torments Paul Young until he nears his breaking point. Susan deals with her feelings for Karl, who is having second thoughts about marrying Edie. And Bree gets a surprise visit from her father and stepmother.

Gabby schemes to get Lily's birth father to surrender his parental rights. Edie reaches out to Susan when Karl breaks up with her, causing much guilt for Susan. Lynette tries to help her boss spice up his marriage, leading to problems in the office. Bree takes action when Peter's Sex Addicts Anonymous sponsor warns him to stay away from her. When Betty sells her house, Matthew and Danielle hatch a plan to get her to stop the move.
