EPISODE 13 - THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT A WAR

Gabrielle manoeuvres to remove Sister Mary from Carlos' life. Tom decides to re-enter the workforce and applies for a position with Lynette's company. Susan inadvertently offends Dc Ron, who struggles to maintain an ethical doctor/patient relationship. Bree makes more than one discovery about the Applewhites and invites everyone over for a "big secret." But when Betty confronts her with a secret of her own, will Bree have a good enough poker face to bluff her way out of it?

EPISODE 14 - SILLY PEOPLE

Bree's suspicions of her neighbour Maxine Bennett's too perfect luncheons are confirmed when an FBI raid reveals Xiao Mei, a Chinese girl being kept as a slave. Carlos and Gabby offer Xiao Mei a place to stay, and quickly grow attached to her cooking and sewing skills. Tom's attempts to ingratiate himself with his new boss backfire, causing Lynette to take drastic measures to maintain the upper hand. Susan decides to get married in order to get medical insurance. When her "groom" gets cold feet, help arrives from an unexpected source.

EPISODE 15 - THANK YOU SO MUCH

Karl and Susan hunt for Susan's original wedding ring, which she threw from a car window in a fit of anger. After spotting the ring in Karl's briefcase, Edie becomes convinced that Karl is about to propose to her. Gabby's flirtatious mother shows up with an interesting offer, which brings with it a shocking secret. A very hungover Bree agrees to babysit for Tom and Lynette's kids. When the boys take a walk while their babysitter is passed out, Lynette angrily confronts Bree.

EPISODE 16 - THERE IS NO OTHER WAY

Zach agrees to see Noah Taylor after Noah has Paul arrested under false pretenses. The stress of working for Lynette begins taking its toll on Tom. Gabby and Carlos begin the adoption process and hit a major bump when they encounter a familiar face. Bree joins AA in order to counter Andrew's claims that she hit him while drinking. Susan, drugged up for her operation, confesses to Dr. Ron that she Ioves...Mike.
