Bree re-buries Rex amid suspicions from the police, who show her a note in Rex's own handwriting that implicates her in his death. Gabrielle's new hotshot lawyer seems interested in more than just legal briefs. Lynette quickly tires of barhopping every night with her party-girl boss. Susan feels betrayed by her longtime book agent, and Betty's conscience forces her to reveal a secret about the man in her basement.
EPISODE 6 - I WISH I COULD FORGET YOU
Bree's relationship with George hits a snag when she breaks out in hives whenever they attempt to be intimate. Mocked by her boss for her unfashionable business attire, Lynette suffers buyer's remorse after a clothing shopping spree. Gabrielle resorts to drastic measures to ensure that her lawyer frees Carlos from prison.
Paul Young returns to Wisteria Lane, causing problems for Susan and Mike's relationship.
EPISODE 7 - COLOUR AND LIGHT
With her relationship with Mike seemingly over, Susan seeks comfort in familiar arms. Lynette and Tom are thrilled when the twins make friends with the children of a new family on the street, but when the kids accidentally bring the wrong videotape to the Scavo house, things get uncomfortable. George surprises Bree with a new house and engagement ring. Bree's therapist helps her come to a decision, which leads him to his own encounter with a very angry George.
Caleb escapes from Betty's basement and surprises Gabrielle, leading to tragedy.
EPISODE 8 - THE SUN WON'T SET
The residents of Wisteria Lane, upset that Caleb is still at large, hold a neighbourhood watch meeting. Carlos is angry that Gabrielle is not more upset about losing the baby. Susan, Bree and Lynette try to cheer up Gabrielle, but it is an unexpected visit from a frightening stranger that helps her let go. Bree receives a word of warning from one of George's ex-girlfriends, and Susan makes a troubling discovery about her father.
