Written by Russell T Davies, and starring a young Kate Winslet in one of her first TV roles, Dark Season is an exciting science-fiction mystery that centres around a English school, where all is not what is seems. A mysterious millionaire called Mr Eldritch arrives as the school, claiming to be its benefactor, donating computers to every student. But a small group of pupils grow suspicious and set about uncovering a plot that not only threatens all the children in their school, but the whole human race!
First screened in 1991, the series also stars Jacqueline Pearce as the indomitable Miss Pendragon. Directed by Colin Cant and produced by Richard Callanan, all six episodes are included on this one disc set.
