| It’s time to revisit the eternal darkness of Hell’s Kitchen lawyer Matt Murdock and explore the shadowy world of Daredevil as never before with Daredevil: Director’s Cut .
Grittier, darker and edgier than before, Mark Steven Jackson’s Daredevil: Director’s Cut is released as a longer version with 30 minutes of extra footage including longer fight scenes, new characters, restored sequences and an all new sub-plot.
This is no-ordinary Director’s Cut. Daredevil: Director’s Cut gives viewers a greater insight into the character of Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck, Paycheck, The Sum of all Fears) as the film takes more time to explore his upbringing and relationship with his father, as well as his work as a lawyer defending the underdog. This in-depth exploration of the character provides an interesting contrast to the dingy, dark world he inhabits and helps to enrich the Daredevil journey. Watch out for the brand new character Dante Jackson (played by Coolio) a former drug dealer/addict framed for a murder he didn’t commit.
In keeping with the darker interpretation of the film, less emphasis is placed on Daredevil’s relationship with Elektra* (Jennifer Garner, Alias). This enables the focus of the film to shift from a romantic action story to a darker grittier film, that is more in keeping with Frank Miller’s comic book vision of Daredevil.
Daredevil: Director’s Cut is the definitive Daredevil - more thrilling, more amazing and darker than ever! Add this to your list now – if you dare!
