Julia Stonecypher is down on her luck. She has lost her husband and the vice-president of the local bank pays a visit to tell her the house is being repossessed and she and her two children are homeless. After leaving Julia's house Brian, the bank vice-president, has an accident in his car and is forced to return to the house and shelter from the severe storm.
