| When you put together three beautiful crime fighting ladies and a boss that is a total recluse you get the most successful TV series of the 1970's, Charlie's Angels . The series was based on three stunning female detectives who worked for the Charles Townsend Detective Agency. Charlie, who was their anonymous boss, gives them assignments via a speaker phone. With gun, gadgets and gorgeous girls this was a huge hit in its day and still stands well against many of today’s lighter TV series.
