| Exploding on to the small screen, the hysterical king of rubber-faced comedy, Jim Carrey (Ace Ventura, Truman Show), delivers an outrageously funny and touching performance as mortal man made God. Combined with the multi-award winning talent of Jennifer Aniston (Picture Perfect, The Good Girl), Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption, Seven) and director Tom Shadyac (Ace Ventura, Liar Liar) Carrey's Bruce Almighty is an unmissable mix of hilarity and heavenly pursuits.
Carrey stars as Bruce Nolan, a man with the world at his feet - a great job as a TV reporter and a beautiful girlfriend, Grace (Jennifer Aniston) who is totally in love with him. Bruce however is thoroughly discontented with his lot and angrily ridicules and rages against God after the worst day of his life. God responds by appearing in human form (Morgan Freeman). He's heard Bruce's complaints, and now has an offer him.... A taste of his omnipotence.

If you could be God for one week, what would you do?
Bruce Nolan (Carrey) is a newscaster unhappy with his life. As one disaster follows another, Bruce is fired from his TV station and beaten up by a gang of thugs. Furious, Bruce rails and rages against God who, through a curious series of signs, eventually leads him to an old building called Omni Presents, Inc. There, Bruce meets a janitor (Freeman), who ultimately reveals himself as God and challenges Bruce to take on the big job and see if he can do any better.
Once Bruce convinces himself that hes not dreaming, he proceeds to use his infinite powers now at his disposal for his own amusement and advantage. Finally, he finds himself at a crossroads: to become the biggest and most powerful jerk in the universe or find a little bit of humanity in Bruce Almighty
