Bill S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Ted "Theodore" Logan (Reeves) have been killed by evil robot replacements sent by the wicked Di Nomolos. However, death doesn't wash well with these cool dudes and they go to Heaven and Hell in order to save their "babes" and take part in the all important San Dimas Battle of the Bands.

Bill & Ted have it all to do: they must escape from Hell, take the Grim Reaper on, meet God and defeat their evil droid doubles to win the day.
