You can’t keep a good re-animator down! It’s been fourteen years since we last saw eminent scientist / certifiable lunatic Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) conduct his hideous experiments into reanimating the dead. Fourteen years since his last subject went on a killing spree that landed West in jail. Fourteen years to repent and see the error of his ways. So, has the good doctor learnt his lesson? Not a bit off it! In fact, he’s taken the experiments a few steps BEYOND.

Inventing a re-agent that may return personality as well as simple motor reanimation to the dead. With his new apprentice, Dr Howard (Jason Barry) in tow, West moves from experimenting on rats to human tissue. But a nosy reporter, an evil prison warden and a psychotic inmate who wants to know what happened to his pet rat(!) are all on hand to throw a spanner into West’s work. Before you know it, prison life is becoming prison un-life and the stage is set for another gruesome visit to the doctors.

Director Brian Yuzna (Re-animator 1 and 2) brings us the eagerly awaited latest chapter in one of horror’s most enduring franchises, it’s a must see for both long term fans and newcomers alike!
