It's the year 3000AD and Earth is ruled by the Psychlos, a malevolent alien race who are strip-mining the planet's resources and consider humanity little more than animals. When a hunter from one of the few remaining tribes is caught looking for food, he's put to work by Psychlo security chief Terl, (John Travolta), who plans to keep a share of the bounty. But Terl has underestimated the fighting spirit of the human race.
