Hapless traffic cop Yoo Sang-hwan is accidentally hit by a powerful “palm blast” while trying to catch a handbag thief. When he discovers that the blast came from a beautiful martial arts student named Eui-jin, he becomes obsessed with learning the special move himself.

Five ancient Tai-Chi masters, impressed by the fact that Sang-hwan’s exceptionally strong chi has allowed him to survive the blast, recruit him along with Eui-jin to train in martial arts. When an evil former master who has left the group suddenly returns, seeking vengeance, it’s up to the two new recruits to save the world.
