| | Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) never takes risks. His entire life is meticulously planned. Or so he thought. When his new wife dumps him on their honeymoon for a muscle-bound diving instructor, things start to fall apart. Stunned and humiliated by this huge compromise to his plans he decides to play it safer than ever. But Reuben breaks with convention by meeting up with an adventure-craving, childhood friend named Polly (Jennifer Aniston). The result gives him a new lease of life where extreme sports, salsa dancing and living for the moment take control with hilarious consequences.

If you liked the gross-out moments of Meet The Parents and the social misfits of
There's Something About Mary, then this film is just for you. From
the writer of Zoolander, this comedy
is about opposites who attract!
When Reuben, the ultimate control freak, is dumped by his bride on his honeymoon,
his well laid plans for their future are thrown wildly off track. Then, after
meeting reckless school friend, Polly, he embarks on a whirlwind romance that involves
spicy food, extreme sports, salsa dancing...and Polly's pet ferret Rodolfo.
Not only does Hamburg have perfect comic timing, but
he has a way with hilarious characters and funny dialogue that places him in
the same league as the Farrelly Brothers. And both Stiller, the 'everyman' we
all love to laugh at, and Aniston, who is more than just a good
friend, bounce off each other in every
side-splitting scene. Also look out for cameos by Alec Baldwin and Bryan Brown
as well as an amazing dancing scene with Ben Stiller!

Blockbuster: Why did you take the part of Polly?
JA: When I read the script I laughed, I mean bent-over
laughing throughout the whole thing, and that doesn't happen very often.

BB: After doing The Good Girl, what attracted you to starring in a romantic comedy?
JA: What's really great is it's character driven, it's not one of those romantic
comeies with the device like 'the lie' or 'the letter' or the 'false boyfriend to con
each other'. Getting romantic comedy right is hard and John does it, and makes it hilarious.

BB: How would you describe Polly?
JA: Reuben has love and that's one thing that Polly
Prince doesn't have. She's got everything else, but probably
the one thing she's done really well is to protect herself from
ever being hurt, Polly needs structure. She is a little flaky and
she could use a little slapping around like C'mon young lady(!).
