Jane returns from her holiday to a day full
of problems. Site has been told to move out
of her friends' flat, and tier boss at the radio
station -who is awaiting sentence on a drugs
offence-has been replaced by a difficult 50-
year-old cynic called Junior Truscombe!

The former disc jockey at Happening Radio,
Andy Evol, has been in South America since
he finished his jail sentence for a drugs
offence. When he returns to see Jane in her
office, she does not recognise him; he explains
that in America he became a devout convert
to Christianity and has changed his name to
Andrew Love!

Jane finds that she is pregnant and, because
she had a brief affair with Vincent Fish before
being reconciled with her husband Laurence,
she is not sure which of them is the father...
Indira moves out of Laurence's flat and
Laurence wants Jane to move back in with
him, but Jane tells him that sbe needs more
time to think before taking such a decision.
