Career mobster Tommy Spinelli (Joe Pesci) has been given, what for him, is a routine task. He must take the evidence of 8 successful hits back to his boss, Big Sep, on the West Coast. Easy! It’s just a matter of Tommy taking a flight to California, carrying the bag of heads with him and keeping out of trouble.

When medical student Charlie mistakes Tommy’s bag for his own at the San Diego airport and then goes off to meet his girlfriend’s parents in Mexico, Tommy is given 24 hours to get the bag back or MORE HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!
