There’s never any harm in having another crack at something, updating or "re-imagining" an old classic for a new audience. Sometimes remakes even manage to improve on the original. Though great in their time, The Fly, The Nutty Professor, House on Haunted Hill and Ocean’s Eleven were all overshadowed by superior remakes. It works for TV too: the new Battlestar Galactica series is light years ahead of the old. For starters, we recommend The Manchurian Candidate.
