New and Exclusive to BLOCKBUSTER®
New In Town
Renee Zellweger stars in this fish out of water romantic comedy. When ambitious Lucy Hill is asked to manage one of her firm's struggling manufacturing plants to bring this into line with company standards, she jumps at the chance to further her career. However Lucy soon regrets her decision when she discovers that she'll have to move from the big city out into the country - the remote town of New Ulm. After initially missing her creature comforts, and hating the town and the nature that surrounds it; she slowly warms to the local community and it's up to her to come up with a fool-proof scheme to save the plant, and her job.

You can also rent New In Town on Blu-ray or Pre-order a brand new copy to own on Blu-ray for £17.99 here.
Push
Best described as Jumper meets X-Men, Push is a great sci-fi action film starring Chris Evans (i.e. the guy from Cellular and Fantastic Four, not the former Big Breakfast presenter), and Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds). A group of young American psychics - each with extraordinary abilities, are on the run from a clandestine US government agency known as Division. Teaming up together in Hong Kong, they go on the offensive in the hope of winning their freedom forever. It's a decent Hollywood popcorn flick - switch your brain off, grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks.

Movie Highlights
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
A sweet, funny love story starring Superbad / Juno star Michael Cera and 40 Year Old Virgin star Kat Dennings. During a chance encounter at a club, supergeek Nick (cera), still trying to get over the breakup with his ex-girlfriend meets Norah (Dennings), a hip and attractive rock chick. Eventually hitting it off, the two of them travel New York City one night, to try to find a mysterious new Indie rock band who have left cryptic messages all over the city. This is best described as Adventures In Babysitting meets After Hours.

Then check out Juno, a brilliant film featuring Michael Cera and Ellen Page.
Franklyn
Eva Green, Ryan Phillippe and Sam Riley star in this nightmarish futuristic thriller set in the not-too-distant future. Four lives across multiple realities are brought together in unimaginable ways. A masked vigilante detective known as Preest searches through the streets of 'Meanwhile City', a fantasy metropolis ruthlessly governed by religious elite. Meanwhile in modern day London, Esser is a broken man searching for his son, sleeping rough on the streets. While Milo is a heartbroken thirty something, lost in the metropolis; and in the background, art student Emilia has visions of a dark and deadly world. Although separate stories, all four of their lives will play a part in the story that unfolds. A Dark City-esque film, that is difficult to describe without giving away the plot. If you liked Dark City, you should like this.

The Unborn
This film boasts one of the most compelling sleeves I have seen in recent years. A teen supernatural thriller starring Gary Oldman, James Remar and Jane Alexander; The Unborn tells the story of a popular teenage girl who can't escape nightmarish visions of an evil spirit. She discovers that her family is cursed and she is slowly becoming possessed. As teen horror films go, this is pretty good - best enjoyed as a popcorn flick that you can switch your brain off and go with... A pure guilty pleasure. If you liked The Messengers, you'll like this.

Also available to rent on Blu-ray now here.

The History of Transformers
You remember the theme tune. You know who the big red good-guy one is. At least one boy in your class at school had an enormous one. Go on admit it, you're reading this full of 80's nostalgia and thinking 'yeah that new movie trailer does look awesome' and making 'krrr-krrr-chh-chhht' noises with someone looking at you like you've just arrived from a small metallic world from light years away!
Yeah, thought so. You see deep down, everyone's a Transformers fan. Find out more >
Tom Cruise Interview
From X-Men director Bryan Singer comes a thrilling wartime adventure, Valkyrie. Available now from Blockbuster.co.uk, it reveals widespread German opposition to the Nazis as it tells the gripping true story of a daring and ingenious plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. Starring Tom Cruise as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, a man who risked everything to what he felt was right, the film also features a roster of distinguished character actors, among them Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy and Terence Stamp.

Game of the Week
Although I risk unleashing the wrath of the Xbox 360 fanboys out there; credit where credit's due - getting Ghostbusters as a Playstation Exclusive was a clever move by Sony, it's an excellent game - well worth a play through.
Boasting the voice talents of all the original Ghostbusters actors, with the notable exception of Rick Moranis; this game is a fantastic Ghostbusters adventure set shortly after Ghostbusters 2. This is the true sequel to Ghostbusters 1 and 2, and players can play through what is almost an interactive movie.
As a Ghostbuster, you have the chance to chase, attack, and catch ghosts in a funny and frightening battle to save New York from its latest supernatural plague.
