Jeff Bridges promises 'Tron Legacy' will be as groundbreaking as the original film.
'The Men Who Stare at Goats' actor said he is looking forward to seeing how futuristic the final film is, and comparing it to the 1982 original. Jeff stars as the same character, Kevin Flynn, in both films.
He said: "That film was wild. Very much like the other one it's very groundbreaking, which is the reason I got on board.
"The technology in movies now is completely different. The original 'Tron' was made at a time when there was no internet and no personal computers.
"Our cellphones were carried around in suitcases! But the new one uses all modern techniques."
Jeff, 59, also said he has an interesting relationship with modern technology, and finds the internet "fascinating".
He added to Empire magazine: "I have a love hate relationship with my computer. I find I spend most of the day sitting in front of the thing, kind of fielding the world. It's time consuming but fascinating."
